Since when do corny lines, dumb blonds and blurry pictures make a movie style or genre?.. Since Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers (with a hint of Mickey Spilane) And that about sums up Sky Captain... However, in spite of being cliche, it is a very entertaining movie spectacle. Should be seen on a big screen (because their aint much subtlety for the small one)
