The Grudge [2004] Movie Reviews on CinemaClock

Pure shocker. Its been a long time since someone has commendably used all the tricks of the trade in the right way. Unfortunately, that is all this movie has going for it. There is very little story and average acting. No depth or subtlety,... and there were some places where these things could have been successfully injected. I kept waiting for SMG to finally turn around and wack one of these ghosts. Come on, Buffy!! As for entertainment, it had about the same effect as someone clipping electrodes to your tongue and giving you random zaps... Well... maybe a little better than that. I should have gotten the clue when I noticed that CinemaClocks ratings showed a high score from teenage girls. There certainly were a lot of them there, squealing and squirming. And nary a teenage boy to be seen to comfort and cuddle the girls after the adrenalin rush. Come on guys!! Your missing the point of these shock flicks!!!
