Excellent film. In a post 911 world where none of know who the "enemy" is or where, when and how they are going to attack we are all at a loss as to how to respond. Our "world" seems to have been turned upside down and we are told that we are at "war" with another "world" from the other side of the globe. Every day millions of people here in north america walk by parked cars and don't know if it one of them will explode. We ride city buses and don't know if they will be blown up and we waite for subways and eat in restaurants not knowing if an "alien" from another world will enter our bucolic "every day reality" and blow it all away. I think many of us are just like the father in this movie, we don't know anything and we have no answers. We are just running from one place to the next not knowing where to go, hoping that we are going to make it through. As Churches fall and bullets and bombs have no effect, like him, we have to ask ourselves what, if anything, is going to save us?
