I agree with r_j_r's review for the most part. It is a mature and subtle, slow-moving movie, but very interesting. The slow quiet style helps the viewer to get inside the head of the main character and imagine what he is going thru; the realization that his life is in its twilight and he has spent it in a dull unimaginative way. His attempt to put an exclamation mark on the end of it is poignant and admirable. My only complaint is it could have been about 20 minutes shorter. Only see this movie if you are acclimatized to less-obvious art films.
