First off people need to member you are not rating Mel Gibson you are rating Apocalypto. The movie is a masterpiece. It's not intended to be historically accurate. The actors and costumes are unbelievable. It is a fictional movie that really goes into the characters. Yes its violent and it needed to be to make you feel the intensity and terror of the situation. If you dont want violence in your movie then watch Christmas Vacation again!!
