[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I enjoyed the movie... There was no true antagonist. The doctor, the sister, the cop? I went home and watched the original right away. Even some parts in the original were chessy. Watch when the sister gets killed in the original, great acting (yah right) RZ gave us a different look to the original (more money I am sure in production) but Jamie lee Curtis brought you into her fight. The characters that I felt the most for were the mother and then the janitor played Danny Trejo. They showed love for Micheal and unltimately paid with their lives for their love. The doctor was doing his job and when is stopped seeing Micheal cashed in on his pet project. Die Bum. If RZ would have stayed true to the original where Micheal came from what looked like a normal family, that would have been better. He could have also created a world where Laurie was searching for her true roots at the same time as Micheal was heading back to Town. These are just somethoughts, Still a good flick.
