I looovvee this movie. It's funny and definitely not predictable. I actually don't like Jennifer Garner especially in 13 going on 30 but she wasn't that bad in this one.

Fun characters, Kevin Smith adds some good flavour to it, though a very cliched story,

It was garbage. Chick-flick that even I, a chick, hated. Kevin Smith was funny. But not funny enough to hold up the whole movie. I coudn't wait for it to end. Skip it.

Pretty good overall. I like Jennifer Gardner and I thought she carried the movie. Was expecting Kevin Smith to be much better though.

Slow, boring, walked out about 2/3 through and should have left sooner. A dog.

Shows the true meaning of friends and how they helped Garner when her better half has another life. Her determination to find out the other life her fiance was living and despite the bad times they all pulled together, and discovered their own wants and needs.

Catch and Release is now one of my favorite movies. You know that Gray and Fritz were going to get together but I think that's what made it even better! Not even joking go see it A. S. A. P!

I thought that the combination of drama and comedy, romance and friendship sprinkled with dark humour and quirkiness was very well done. The movie has its moments but because I find that some of the details of the movie to be confusing and the sudden "passion" between Gray and Fritz to be unbelievable, in my mind the movie didn't quite develop into an unforgettable romantic comedy.

It was a pretty good movie but not that type you would go see again it is not that kind of movie you want to see twice.

Very predictable, story line could have been much more exciting and more believable. It's alright for a night in with the girls, not a guy movie at all.

Why must these movies exist? It is so unfair to give people such unobtainable ideas of what romance or love really is.

This movie reminded me of three guys (one of them dead) standing around kicking poor Garner around like a football. Not a good movie at all...

I have yet to see a Jennifer garner movie I haven't liked. This is a fantastic movie with several unexpected realizations about people you think you know.

As someone who isn't a huge fan of chick flicks, I enjoyed this. It had its touching moments, its funny moments, but overall it wasn't nauseatingly mushy. Love Kevin Smith, and liked Jennifer Garner's character. Ending was too "happily ever after" and predictable though.

I thought it was just ok. A bit entertaining, but I expected it to be way better. I had some tissues on stand-by and didn't need to use them at all. Disappointing.

This movie was not a bad watch overall, but was fairly predictable all the way through. It had a few good chuckles and a few really touching scenes. Not a horrible show. I would recommend it if you are looking for one of those schmultzy romantic comedies.

Bad, very, very bad!!! Some scenes could have been good, but they ended them too quickly. The story didn't flow smoothly either. I was bored. But that's just my opinion. Cheers :)

Very disappointing... I was wanting to see a cute mushy chick flick... one where you sigh in happiness and cry because it is so sweet... this had none of that... it's a renter!!

Horrid! Absolutely no story line! The characters had no chemistry. I was looking at my watch every five minutes - and I don't have a watch! What a waste of time! What a tragedy, I'll never get that hour and a half back! Save yourself precious time and money! Stay away!

This movie dragged on really long... there were some good parts... but I mean... okay... all Kevin Smith did in this movie was eat... and his acting SUCKED... and the story wasn't really getting anywhere yet the movie is 2 hours long... I wouldn't really recommend it.

I'll admit it, I like sappy romantic comedies, this one wasn't all that sappy... but it was really good. Grey is a character you find yourself able to identify with and really, who hasn't had friends like her's.

Jennifer Garner was ok. Kevin Smith and Juliette Lewis were good. The others weren't that good. Movie was not the best I have ever seen. Below average. I found it kind of long and couldn't wait for it to end. A bit boring.

Yes it's a chick flick but one that is different. It's not just boy meets girl - boy is gerk to girl but girl still loves boy and they get together at the end of the movie. There are twists and lovely friendships that are all interconnected. It's definitely better then most girlie movies - see with a good friend.

The previews made it look so good, yet I could not bring myself to care for any of the characters at all... therefore I did not care what happened in the movie. Kept waiting to be interested but never was. Very boring. Felt bad for making my daughter sit through her 'birthday movie' (she was bored too!)

Absolutely no story line to follow... poor acting... besdies Garner's breathtaking smile there is nothing else you would like to follow or watch. Kept convincing myself that it will get better but my hopes went in vain. I had to leave 10 minutes before the movie ended, it was boring to the bones.
