One of the only movies that in my opinion, Jim Carrey excelled in. The animation in 3-D was absolutely amazing. It was so scary, I just loved it. There was so much action. However the story was very confusing. If I didn't know what the movie was about, I wouldn't have been able to follow.

An excellent remake of the classic story! The 3D was great! For those who complain that it was too scary and your kids were too scared, it is no secret that A Christmas Carol is about ghosts!! The story is extremely old! The original movie is quite scary too! Well Done! I would see it again!

It was a spectacular theatre experience. Seriously. An exceptional story and classic characters, accompanied by perfectly fitting acting (well, voices) and soundtrack. Add that to the amazing cinematography (if you call it that when its animated) and you have a great film. Then, do it all in 3D. The synergistic culmination was a truly spectacular film. I loved it. Of course, I am a Christmas freak.

I saw this movie with my dad and my 2 younger sisters. We were so excited to see a movie about Christmas because Christmas is one of our best holidays. But when we watched the movie, we thought it was the worst movie we've seen in a long time! There were some scary moments in it which werent related to Christmas in anyway. There we some little kids who were watching the movie as well, and they probably thought it was going to be good seeing as how it was a Christmas movie, but some of those kids ended up crying at some scary parts! It definitely was not worth seeing. My dad said it was a waste of his money and it wasn't that good of a Christmas movie! If you have kids or young siblings who want to see this movie, well don't. It's horrible, and you will defiantly regret it later.

Amazing movie. Very well made, a little bit scarry to make you jump out of your seat at times but, an amazing story line behind it. I recommend it to anyone.

It was a very good movie. It had some unique and different events that took place. It was much better than any other Christmas carol I've ever seen. There was even some comedy in it which is always good. I also suggest seeing it in 3-D.

I LOVED this movie. It had sad scenes, funny scenes and warm-fuzzy feeling scenes. The animation was amazing and the characters were well done. I truly enjoyed this movie and the 3D was spectacular. I want to see it again! I highly recommend seeing it.

Really great 3 D effects, story still very close to the original, but the 3D just blows everything else away. Yes some slighlty scary moments, but well worth the trip for the whole family!!

This movie was okay. The animation was amazing. However, the movie got a little confusing in the last part of the movie as it was difficult to tell who some of the characters were who started to appear. The first 2/3 of the movie was very good, the last 1/3 not so much.

I am not sure why this film is animated! It would have been far better with real characters. Some parts were too long and some were just annoying (Spirit "present") It would have been better with less animation and some real acting. The message is still the same but could have been better embellished at the end. Overall, okay movie but could have done without so much animation.

This was an amazing film. Loved the 3D. This was most definitely not a movie for young children though. It's my own fault, I didn't read anything before hand, but my 5 year old was pretty scared. I, on the other hand, LOVED IT!!!

This movie everyone must see! Ya, in someparts it's a little scary... but not too scary!!! Puls, this shows it has scary parts so thats no our problem if you never saw that and still took your kids to it. That just means that your kids got scared easily but, that doesn't mean the movie's bad! It just has scary parts. SO WHAT!

It starteld me all the time and the ghosts freaked me out!! I didn't get what the english people were talking about most of the time. But it was a good story, the only thing I don't agree with is when Ebenezer becomes nicer to others for his own perposes. Oh well that is my thought of the movie/ story. Enjoy!!

What a piece of overblown movie making. It's as if the special effects guys were showing off what they could do, with no reason except to play with digitalism. Scary and stupid.

Great 3D. Great moral. I went to this movie thinking it was a comedy for some reason. Maybe because Jim Carry...

Fantastic. The 3d effects are great, the animation is great. My favorite Christmas story. It even stays true to the dialogue in the book. Best movie version of this story I've seen yet. Instant classic.

I did not like this movie at all. It seems Disney is working a little harder on their special effects than the movie quality these days. Both of my kids said they did not enjoy the movie either. It's said when a remake can not live up to the 40 year old original. Trust me when I say, and this from a person who likes most every movie he sees, skip it, it sucked.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The new Christmas movie is in theaters, with Charles Dickens's story. It's funny to listen Jim Carrey who make the voice of an old man. The 3D effects are very good. You feel like you are flying. The characters are unique and a touch of humour brings color to the movie. For the best sensations, don't sit on the back of the movie theater. Also, it's a familly movie. The teens risk to not like it. At the end, the main character, «Scrooge» has a big transformation. He starts as on a old and a greed man and he finishes as a good and happy person. The movie shows a beautiful moral. Perfect for the december celebration.

Great remake of the Classic. Animation and 3D superb! Much darker than I thought it would be based on the cast (Carrey, Hoskins, Elewes, Firth) Both my 9 and 7 year olds found it too scary in parts. Overall, I enjoyed it more than the kids.

AMAZING movie. It's supposed to be animation, so considering how well it was animated, it was incredible. A MUST see. Jim Carrey's performance was great as was Gary Oldman's. Followed the Dickens' story very well, well directed and put together. Must see!

My 6yr old son and I went and though we did enjoy the story, he did feel it was quite scary at times; mainly the ghosts. After seeing the movie, I would recommend it to older children - over 8.

If you want see a good Christmas movie go see ' A Christmas Carol '. In this movie you can feel the emotion of Scrooge the principal character :sadness, happiness and frighten. The animation it's very good but the effect 3D is not bad because things don't jump on our face, just the character is not on the screen. The dialogue was excellent and very funny. I think the movie is a little bit scary for kids of 5-6 years old. The story is not original because it's similar to another movie and that makes me disapointed.

This is the first time "A Christmas Carol" scared me and actually made me jump! Amazing 3-d Effects and Graphics. Took my 10 year old, some parts were a little too scarry for her, but we did enjoy the movie! Not recommended for younger children though...
