Bonjour, Funny Games est un de ses films qui joue avec notre psychologie, un de ses films qui surprend. Je répondrai à ceux qui lui ont mis une note "faible" que les personnages de ce films sont très biens développé (les méchants très originaux), que le film jouent avec notre psychologie du début à la fin, que les sécances où les personnages regardent la caméra ou encore la scène de rembobinage sont tout à fait originales et suprenant, que l'effet "musique rock" du début est épeurante et que donc la note minime de 1 ou 2 est un peu injustifiée. Je répondrai maintenant à ceux qui ont mis une note "très élevé" qu'il ne fait pas non plus exagérer. Il est vrai que le film est renversant, mais ne cachons pas l'effet de longueur après la mort de Georgie, la faiblesse des personnages principaux et donc la manière dont la famille c'est presque soumis immédiatement aux deux fripons, n'oublions pas aussi les silences parfois trop long du film. Personnellement, j'aurais enlevé l'effet de longueur après la mort du gamin en ne faisant pas partir les deux meurtriers tout simplement, j'aurais caché les silences ennuyants par des dialogues des deux psychopathes ce qui aurait rendu le film encore plus intéressante, j'aurais également reproduit plusieurs fois les effets psychologiques importants et intéressants du film (soit la musique rock du début, les regards à la caméra et le rembobinage) Funny Games est donc un film original qui aurait pu être révisé par son réalisateur qui a tout simplement reproduit sa vieille oeuvre des années 90.

Le film le plus NUL que j'ai vu ces 10 dernières années... Sérieusement... Je n'ai pas de mot pour décrire a quel point j'ai été déçue par ce film. On me payerait 1000$ pour aller le revoir que je refuserais!

Bonjour,[...], j'ai 17ans, j'ai vu "Funny Games" durant les grandes vacances dernières au Cinéma, je fais actuellement quelques recherches sur ce film qui m'a tout simplement frappé et après avoir lu votre critique sur ce film, je ne peux m'empecher de vous répondre ceci: je trouve au contraire que la scène du rembobinage donne tout son charme au film! L'aisance avec laquelle les scénaristes à travers les personnages de ce film jouent avec nos sentiments est juste extraordinaire, c'est tellement rageant de nous laisser entrevoir une lueur d'espoir pour cette pauvre famille pour ensuite "corriger" cela et choisir la fin qui scied le mieux au tueur survivant.. j'imagine sans probleme le petit sourire de celui qui a eu cette idée brillante et c'est cette forme "d'arrogance" qui m'a le plus séduit dans ce film.

1 film choc! Remake du film original de Haneke FUNNY GAMES (1997) Ames sensibles s'abstenir. Une expérience cauchemardesque dont vous n'en sortirez pas indemnes.

Un film très particulier. Le concept de base, quoi qu'un tantinet commun, est assez bien ; deux étrangers s'introduisent chez une famille et la terrorise. C'est plutôt lors du développement de "l'intrigue" et quant au traitement utilisé que ça se gâte... Le film réussit parfaitement à faire naître en nous un sentiment d'empathie extrême pour la famille, de rage intense contre les assaillants et de peur envers tous leurs "jeux". On comprend aussi toujours très facilement ce qui se passe, on suit une trame narrative très classique, mais efficace. Par contre, les décisions parfois ridicules des personnages principaux face aux dangers vont très vite faire grincer les dents à plusieurs. Par exemple, la famille offre pratiquement aucune résistance contre ses agresseurs, même quand l'opportunité se présente. Aussi, comme plusieurs l'ont déjà noté et c'est, à mon avis, la plus grande faiblesse du film, une idée qui ne fonctionne qu'à moitié : la scène de rembobinage vers la fin. Tout le monde la connait probablement déjà et je ne cacherai rien afin de mieux exprimer mon opinion ; un des membres de la famille réussit à prendre une arme à feu et tuer un des deux assaillants. Celui toujours en vie prend alors une télécommande et rembobine afin d'effacer tout ce qui vient de se passer. Si l'on veut nous faire rager, c'est réussi. Mais, l'histoire perd alors de tout son "réalisme", on décroche complètement. On ne peut s'empêcher de son demander, mais pourquoi. Le fait que le film se finisse très mal ne me dérange pas réellement, mais ça!! Bref, regardez plutôt "The Strangers" (Les inconnus), vous serez moins déçus...

Bon film, bien ficelé, où on ne peut prévoir le dénouement, ni la conclusion. Un film très violent, davantage par la psychologie des personnages que par l'action. À découvrir maintenant l'original de 1997, qui demeure un chef-d'oeuvre du genre.

Je n'ai pas vu la version originale mais j'ai adoré celle-ci. D'abord il s'agit d'un film extrêmement destabilisant, à plusieurs égards, musique, ambiance, plans de caméra, la suggestion (ce qu'on ne voit pas) Funny Games est fascinant car il réussit à créer un trouble chez le cinéphile, mais en n'utilisant pas la violence gratuite ou les images chocs! Le réalisateur préfère nous toucher autrement. Certains y verront des longueurs et un manque d'action, il est certain que Funny Games n'est pas un film d'horreur conventionnel avec des poursuites sanglantes et des sursauts, c'est un film qui construit une atmosphère unique, il faut savourer les longueurs qui sont des exercices de style palpiantes. On en sort mélangé, et c'est ce qui m'a plus, c'est ce qu'un film doit faire, venir me chercher, me laisser une trace, et Funny Games y parvient en nous mettant dans la figure des scènes audacieuses et différentes de ce que les réalisateurs auront l'habitude de faire. Celui-ci choisit une optique assez unique et c'est très bien, de plus, il refuse la facilité. Les 2 vilains du film quant à eux sont tout simplement terrifiant dans leur genre, hypnotique, imprévisible, et semant la confusion dans nos esprits, ils apportent une dimension non négliegable au résultat. Et la finale, je sais qu'elle frustera ou décevra plusieurs spectateurs, pour ma part je l'ai trouvé tranchante et géniale... un coup de poing! Funny Games n'est pas un film qui plaira à n'importe qui, les gens qui espèrent voir un film d'horreur sanglant où l'on sursaute en gang en sortiront probablement déçu... mais le cinéphile qui cherche une experience différente, et qui est bien conscient que le cinéma va beaucoup plus loin que ce que peux nous imposer Hollywood et ses formules vus et revus depuis des années et des années... Ça vaut le coup!

Ouin... Le début était très bon, mais ce qu je n'ai pas aimé c'est quand la mère reste planté la pendant 15 minutes de temps! C'est comme... Bon, et quoi encore? Mon écran a gelé.. Mais mise à part ça et la fin et le bout qu'ils reviennent en arriere dans le temps, le film reste ecore très intéressant!

Bon quelques longeurs mais on s'en [...] TU UN PEU!!!? Le film est très bon, et le film est classé 18 ans + pas pour la violence qu'on aurait pu voir mais bien pour l'horreur psychologique que les deux voyous font subir au couple. Un bon film et une excellente critique du voyeurisme.
