A die hard farce that comes up very weak, no risks just did what you thought was coming everytime, a very dissapointing effort.

BAD! I hated this movie. They used all the funny parts in the trailer and they were not funny in the first place. It should not be seen by any one with any taste. Go see a good movie like the Titanic, Artificial Itelligence, and Hercules.

This REALLY exceeded my expectations. A very entertaining movie.

This was pretty silly humor to me. I hardly laughed. Plus - is a lovely young lady really going to fall in love with a bumbling heavy fellow? I'll comment though, that my kids in their 20's really raved about it. Go figure!

Not bad of a movie, but could have been much better. It got boring at times, and the only funny parts is what you see in the trailer, and a couple of others. I watched it with my family, and my brother and sister liked it, my dad found it normal, and I dunno about my mom. It's worth watching with your family and younger children.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] It really saddened me when I discovered that this movie made tons of cash at the box office. After watching it I felt truly depressed and disgusted with everybody involved in its production. It was supposed to be a comedy, but all the jokes were based around obesity and people not respecting security guards. The humour was basically movie people laughing at how stupid normal people are. The eponymous hero was a cartoon, childlike bore. His girlfriend was pretty, and would never have even considered the fat blob as a partner. The villains had tattoos and jumped around a lot. The plot was entirely predictable and could have been written by a ten year old. No, scratch that. No ten year old would be so simultaneously dumb, cliched and boring. This movie must have cost millions to make and advertise. Just think what could have been done with a fraction of that cash. Shameful movie, a terrible insult to its audience and a sad indictment of every movie goer in the United States.

They put too much of the funny parts in the trailer. A good movie though...

Good kids movie (kids 5-9 years old) Hilarious if you find fat jokes funny (I don't) The story is simple, but kind of stupid. Very cheesy.

Great movie with the typical humor of the Sandler guys, thought the whole thing was a classic comedy that I'm sure I will watch again and again in the future.

It seemed really stupid at first but the ending was good. The plot was weak and the joles actually weren't that funny. It had its moments but it wasn't great.

I had a lot of laugh , enjoyed from start to end, but specialy the end. The part where Paul Blart attempted to jump from one car on to the other was so hilarius I could not stop laughing. Looking forward to owning it on dvd. Hopefully they will make a second one.

Terrible film. No laughs, just silly and witless throughout. A really bad piece of work. I would give it zero if the scale went lower.

GAWD awful. Nothing funny at all. I wanted my money back. A really bad script (written by Kevin James) and just a bomb. Too bad. Maybe next time...

This is an awful movie. Nothing redeeming at all. The popcorn was better. Kevin James is a good tv actor and should stay in tv roles. Sooo bad too sad.

Typical Adam Sandler type comedy. Nothing horribly wrong with it but nothing special about it either. There is one plot inconsistency near the end of the movie that I guess the writers couldn't be bothered with but it's a minor quibble.

Some of the worst lines ever written for a comedy. I enjoy the lead character on his TV show, but I see that he cannot write at all. This movie is caught somewhere between being bad, but not bad enough to laugh at for being so bad.

I thought it was funny, nothing that would contribute to explosive loss of blatter control funny, but I had its moments. It even made the grumpy old man wearing 4 quarts of old spice sitting next to me grunt a few times. It felt like a rejected Adam sandler flick, but considering it was produced by his production company (Happy Madison) I wasnt too shocked about this. Worth seeing if you are into light hearted comedies that dont take things too seriously.

I feel like it's been done before? The previews pretty much tell it all, many fat jokes, lame guy saves the day, the end... I love Kevin James but this character did him NO justice.

The movie was actually funny for the majority of the time. There were a few scenes where the movie lagged. But overall the movie had a good message. My favourite from my nephew..."don't drink or you will end up with tatoos!"

Fun movie. It was better than I expected. I was surprised to learn after the fact that it didn't blow his "condition" out of proportion for laughs - it really happens like that! Overall - lots of fun, some serious parts, some good action, some smart bad guys & it all adds up to a nice little movie most people will enjoy!
