No real arc to the storyline. Just one damn thing (dinosaur) after another. A lot of conceit in getting our heroes into particular situations. The cast is talented, but even Macy and Leoni could not set up their relationship as one that needed to be saved, much less save it. Way too many holes in this script. On the positive side, I had not seen either of the two previous movies, but was still able to follow the plot. And the special effects do what they are supposed to do: you can't tell where the special effects begin and the reality ends. So if all you want is state-of-the-art, computer-generated special effects, this movie has that. If you want a plot or story or even genuine suspense, keep looking.
