User's review

I haven't read the book, but the movie did really well on my "watch test" for long movies - it took a full hour and a half before I looked at my watch to see how far along we were. It kept me interested and involved (with only that momentary break) for 2.5 hours (which is more than I can say for some movies half that long). As my wife said, the author had to have a great imagination just to conceive some of the scenes - kind of wants to make you read some of the books. : -) A good movie for all ages.
