Wow sitting throught that move was the most boring experience of my life! I thought I was going to rip my hair out 20 min. into it! I guess that why we were the only ones in the thedor! The parents in the movie are so odd. This was NOT funny just BAD! Please don't buy or even RENT this movie it is a waste of your life!!! Alexis is a great actress and I don't know why she would participate in this nonsence!!!

Wow, I expected this to be good, but I ended up checking my watch a thousand times, hoping it ended soon. Alexis Bledel is one of my favorites, I love gilmore girls and sisterhood of the traveling pants.

What the hell is this! I would think you would watch the movie BEFORE you release it. Then think wow! We should scrap the entire project.

This movie SUCKS! As soon as I purchased the ticket, the guy at the counter said no refunds. For your own sake, don't watch this idiotic movie.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Unfortunately I waited a little over half an hour to see if anything exciting would occur and was unable to get a refund! DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE! The plot is all over the place and the acting is horrible. Very predictable and I am surprised it wasn't a "straight to DVD"!

Good movie, but a bit contrived in the storyline. Seen it before right? At the end she misses their date and then has to quit her job spontaneously and go to New York to get his forgiveness, but still pretty good. I wouldn't go to the theatre for it though. My advice is to wait for the DVD.

Okay so I was expecting something a lot worse. It was a fluff kinda movie, so don't go in thinking you'll find a whole lot of plot or that it isn't predictable b/c lets face it, most movies like this are predictable...

The movie did not make sense at all, should of been better written.

A very cute chick flick! A no-brainer, very easy to watch and just enjoy!

It had its moments and wasn't a complete waiste! I really liked the 'reality' of it. Nice wake up call for kids in college or university; just cause you have a degree or certificate doesn't mean you'll get the job that corresponds.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] This movie was just awful... really. Alexis Bledel proves beyond a doubt she just can't act, and no, blinking one's eyes and looking puzzled or pouting in a princessy way does not cut it. The plot was very poorly written, and what another poster said about Michael Keaton hiding in shame after this is dead-on. Could have been a much better movie in the hands of another director... you never get the sense that this girl is really struggling and toiling in dead-end jobs and trying to get it together, before she gets her big break. Her big break happens so randomly and so undeservedly. It's all put together so haphazardly that by the end you just don't care that she got the job and the guy. Big yawn.

I loved it! My mom and sister loved it too! It had a good mix of funny and uniqueness. I found it entertaining start to finish. A+ I love Alexis Bledel in it.

Wow, I saw the preview and thought I was going to see a cute, romantic story, Ya no, it is silly, the acting is not good, and Alexis is RORY from gilmore girls... it was very odd. Not HORRIBLE but also not top 10.

I will start out by saying overall I thought the movie was ok... I didn't have very high expectations. All in all it was extremely light, had some moments, but predictable. Unfortunately it could have been cuter; the movie clearly was trying but the story fell flat and the moments that were supposed to be funny were, unfortunately, not. I was even bored in some parts. The casting was promising but also fell flat - Carol Burnett was wasted and Alexis Bledel pretty much played her character from Gilmore Girls. I adored Rodrigo Santoro but there was too little of him. Too bad he only gets substantial roles in Brazilian movies and not in Hollywood. All in all this would be a great rental, since it wasn't bad but it's not exactly worth seeing in the theater.

I definently wish I would have chosen a another movie to go to. This movie was got a little boring near the beginning and middle. It had its good parts and it was pretty cute but there was some poor acting and it seemed like it was just put together really quick. Not that bad if your just loking for something light.

Wow! This movie is bad. I think the producers were tryng to go for an ecclectic movie and ended up creating a horrible, silly, ridiculous movie. I think Michael Keaton should go and hide after this performance and Alexis Bledel should have stayed with Gilmore Girls. I can't believe she left that succesful show to create this drivel. Pass.

I think this movie dealt well with a part of life that is often overlooked. I loved the quirky characters and Ms. Bledel did an excellent job.

A predictable déjà-vu movie that was fun for a couple of hours of entertainment--seeing Carol Burnett perform who hasn't lost her acting skills--an okay movie geared for the girls.
