User's review

After reading all the diverse reviews, I decided to go and keep an open mind. I had read the book years ago and thought it was hilarious. Though not as bad as people were saying, I did find it too "Americanized". Much of the witty British humour, particularly poke at British bureacracy through the Vogons was a bit lost in the translation. I'm sure if Mr. Adams were alive during the filming, it would have been a much better film (casting - he wanted Jim Carrey as Zaphod) Not bad, but not great. I would love to hear the radio series again!
