My friends and co-workers raved about this movie, and from reading the reviews on this site, I was sure not to be disappointed. I was - somewhat. I thought RDJ and Jeff Bridges were excellent, though I found Paltrow's character somewhat annoying. For a comic book movie it's pretty good, though I didn't feel much for Tony Stark. And the whole capture-escape scenario was rather unbelievable. Given the whole genre of super-hero movies, the bar has been set quite high in terms of the inner struggles of the characters. This just did not meet it. Not a bad movie, just not great.
