I thought the movie was amazing (im 13) I loved every bit of it, except I wasn't a fan of the ending. I suggest watching it if you haven't already. But I don't suggest for parents to watch it, you will get the wrong impression of what you think your daughter is doing.

I found this movie very sickening. Like seriously when your 13 stuff like this does not happen, And the girls n stuff did not even look 13 they looked 16!!! But the good part of the movie is that it taught teenagers to make good choices. And don't become what she became because all you look like is a loser. But I would not see it again it made you feel very disturbed in a lot of cases.

This movie was really good because teens these days are doing horrible things, and disrespecting themselves, and the movie gives a great perspective on how teens really act today in society and how teens are rejected and don't fit in , this movie was awesome and deserves a thumbs up! So who ever hasn't seen this movie should go and get it because you don't know what your missing!

This is one of my all time favourite movies. It really hit home. All of these things are happening to a lot of young girls these days. This movie really expressed that just by meeting person, it can change your life in a dramatic way, good or bad.

DVD: "Thirteen"
This movie leaves you with a terrible feeling in your stomach. I would never watch this again, but that's a testament to its power, not because it's poorly made. Very graphic, very difficult to swallow.

When I saw this movie I was so amazed about how real it was. Girls my age are going through the exact same thing that they are nt he movie so to see in all in action like that was very dramatic!! Every scene was different and I couldnt turn it off!! It was kinda like a biography to me cuz everythin they said everything they did was exactly how some teen girls live!! I give this 2 THUMBS UP!!! go see it now if u havent!!!

I didn't know it had good rating I watched it in my friends basement... her being a cutter was a little much... and she is thirteen... it was unrealistic I think... no one turns bad that fast... I wasn't disappointed but I guess it had good intensions... I'd see it again.

It was very entertaining. The only thing that I disliked about this movie was how all Tracey (Evan Rachel Wood) wanted to be was popular and her life got ruined. But, it does show that if you start doing the things she's doing, look what can happen. It's one of my top ten favorite movies. I would recommend it to anyone thirteen and older. Especially thirteen.

That was me. That is me. That movie rocks. Oh man. I'm kind of wild and out of control now. Yeaah. It was so awesome. I could watch it a thousand times and not get bored. Its so our generation sadly enough. But everything. Everything is and was me. Such a brilliant movie. Go watch it now. Parents should understand. Sorry but thats how we are. At first I thought that there were only a few like that. But its everywhere. I loved it I loved it.

Hey, Im 14 and saw this move when I was 12. Its amazing and both, Even Rachel Wood and Nikki Reed are amazing in it and truly take on their rolls very well. Although bieng a teen myself I know that the, "cooler" guys dont just start hanging out with you the day after you buy semi normal, second hand clothing the day befor! When Even had to act her part out @ bieng a stoned, I have to give her 5 stars, she did an amazing job, I should know seeing as a few friends of mine have done drugs befor. All in all this movie is truly amazing and the styl that it had been filmed in was really cool to watch. WATCH IT TODAY.

AMAZING! It is really like a 13yr old girl who is out of control and I would know... im 14 and ive seen a few people like that. I was expecting another stupid movie about a girl who does drugs and her parents find out and thats the end. But this really surprised me! I never got bored of it. Its real-life stuff for once and there are a lot of morals in the story. Everyone should see it.

Really powerful. I was surprised at how real it is, it really gets into the world of a thirteen-year-old girl, and shows the world how easily things can get out of control. The camera's shakiness was a bit annoying, but it's soon overlooked. The movie really made me think, scared me, and taught me.

Powerful and disturbing movie. Caused flashbacks to my teen years, although I was not that out of control. I watched this movie with my 12 year old daughter. Thank God she was disgusted and pitied the girls, and does not want to emulate them. Here's hoping my daughter and I will not be dealing with any issues so severe.

This movie is really good and is very belivable because teen life can be hard and plus what those girls lives at home were like would drive anyone to do those kinds of things. I would never do those things like drugs, drinking and cutting which the girls do in this movie. But this movie is a good movie and I learned a lot from it.

Obviously not ALL thirteen year olds behave as Evie and Tracy do in "Thirteen". Adolescence is a fragile time for SOME young girls. Considering Tracy's and Evie's home life and their need to be loved, accepted and to "fit in" their downward spirals ARE quite believeable. This film is intoxicating and the end really hits home!! Great performances by all!!

My girlfriend doesn't want to have a daughter anymore after seeing this shocking movie. Don't forget people, it's still just a movie! I'd be hard pressed to believe that more than a handful of kids act that way at the age of thirteen. However, it totally opens up parents' eyes to the type of sh*t their kids could get away with if you don't raise them properly.

Excellent movie! But VERY few 7th graders act this way! 7th graders arent even teens, their tweens, the movie would have had more affect if the girls would have been 15 or 16. I recommend it though!

I liked this movie because it was not a bunch of make believe stuff it was real life and what some kids experience in there life and I think this is a movie that every one should see and one that even parents should see because after they see this they can see what some of us are going through and can help you get closer to us.

I seen the movie Thriteen and I thought about it and I don't do stuff like that with my friends. I've been presured into doing drugs and its really not my thing but I think it is a great movie and more people should see how some of the 10-15 year old girls on Maury are like whores and they should see this movie and they would know that this movie is like there lifestyle.

It's scary to see that movie... I mean as a mom! It's really good. Evan Rachel Wood(that I'm use seeing in ONCE AGAIN on ABC) is very convincing so is Holly Hunter. As I said very good but R rated. If you are a parent see it with your teenager.

I have to say I feel the film was NOT exaggerated. I'm 22 and have been a cutter myself since 13, so am fully aware of how adolesence and life in general can affect a growing child. I never did the sex and drugs thing, but I was still trying to find my way in the world. I recommend 'Thirteen' to anyone who's considering children or have some of their own already. However, I caution people as this is a very triggering movie.

On some levels, I suppose this movie is... mildly relavent. But I think it's real purpose was to frighten parents. Sure, all of these things in the movie happen, but when have they not? And what kind of example was the girl's mum setting, letting her cokehead boyfriend back into the house? And I found it amazing how many people were shicked and horrified with the girl, although her brother was doing basically the same stuff. He got high and drunk. He made lewd comments about a girl well within earshot of her (it turned out to be the girl) I personally think that the main character was a victim of circumstances. This might be a good movie if you are a mum with an addict boyfriend, otherwise it will simply make you paranoid (if you are a parent) or be a waste of time (the rest of the population)

I found "THirteen" not bad... Beeing a teenager myself, I found that it was showing the worst of the teenage years, and could give a bad idea of what teens are wight now... But its does trigger one to beware and to make shure who your friends are. But I do think it was too exagerated.
