Chick flick that even my chick didn't like... says alot. This movie is the typical American stereotype movie rehashed and repackaged, like so often before. Could be good for people who like this kind of movie.

This was an ok movie. The beginning could have been better. The ending was a surprise and the best part of the show.

I would like to set everyone straight on this movie Little Black Book. I myself am not a huge fan of Brittany Murphy as an actress, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to see how she actually CAN act in this movie. She was excellently funny and a joy to watch, the movie itself was very good for both guys and girls, possibly more so for girls however as it is somewhat of a chickflick, but not your average "oh so predictable Happy Ending"... A movie to go see if you want a laugh and something entertaining for two hours.

Much to my surprise (after reading the reviews here before seeing it) this movie wasn't bad and was vastly superior to it's companion "before sunset" It wasn't brilliant, but was strong enough to hold your interest, and the plot twist near the end definitely made it more interesting, as did the cameo by Carly Simon. This movie did lean pretty heavily towards being a "chick flick" but was still palatable for a guy and not bad at all..

The previews made the movie look like it would be good... talk about deceiving! The idea of the movie would have been great had they executed it differently. Not even funny... just dumb and way too far fetched. Don't waste your money.

This movie was an insult to my intelligence. This Britany girl should be banned from acting. Yuck! What a drag!

Lame, lame, lame! How can so much money be wasted on such a horrible film! Poor script, boring costumes, no scenery, shallow characters... What a waste of time.

This movie was... ok... not great. I could have done without it. I think it's a renter. I got through, and enjoyed myself for the most part. I say, it's not too bad!

I liked the general plot but it was lacking, and what was with 10 hours of Brittany singing Carly Simon? No one wants to see that. Overall though I enjoyed it. I didn't expect the ending (not the VERY end but the part at the talk show) which is always a nice change. I recommend renting it.

This movie was so boring [...] Also, the leading character's voice is annoying, and I couldnt stand her dumb expressions. Avoid at all cost.

What a deception!!! I thoguht this was going to be a funny comedy but it wasen't. I didn't laugh once!!! It lasted forever( 2 long hours) and there were some weird scenes where britanny Murphy is singing for 5 minutes. 2 good things about the movie: Britanny Murphy wasen't as annoying as she is in real life and the ending is not like some other cheesy comedies.

It was a good movie, enventhough I din't like the ending. It is funny. Atleast it didn't end up like any other movie, (they live happily ever after) it is more real. Way 2 go.

This moving was truly difficult to sit through. Not because it was sooo badly acted. It's a 'chick flick' after all... you know what your getting into when you buy the ticket. No. I found it difficult to watch because rather than a romantic comedy, this movie is about self centredness, cruelty and betrayal of the worst kind. The ending is not at all what you expect from a 'chick flick' - but it's a satisfying ending for a character who realises that there are lessons to be learnt in life even in the worst of situations..

I expected a romantic comedy. This is neither romantic, nor a comedy. It's a sheer display of insecurity, betrayal of trust and neuroses. Totally didactic, with no character development. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Where was the male lead?! I wanted to see more of him to explain his side of the story. The ending was pathetic; so, she gets a job, at that point, who cares? I was misled by the movie promos; I want a refund. That's two hours of my life I'll never get back. I left the cinema disappointed and a little angry.

This is definitely a chick flick, but a great movie. Although there is a lot of girlie emotionalism the comedy helps to keep it light.

THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN. Brittney Murphy is a terrible actress. The characters were not interesting at all, and it was poorly casted. It was terrible all around. No humour, no major plot line (it was pretty random the first half of the movie), and it was just same old same old chick flick. I remember now why I don't like these kinds of movies. Do not waste your time and money on this movie.

Chick Flick, Chick Flick, Chick Flick, Chick Flick, Chick Flick, Chick Flick, Chick Flick, Chick Flick, Chick Flick, Chick Flick. Will they ever stop making these. You've seen one in the fourties and it's still the same plot. They just changed the actors. Guys stay away from this movie. Tell you girlfriend that should see it with friends.

Little Black book was not at all what I expected. But what surprised me was that I throughly enjoiyed it. Brittany Murphy plays a good role even though she could do better. My advice is to go and see it. You might have a differt point of view but at least its funny!

Not worth the time. If you are going to see a fun romantic comedy, it is not that. The ending was terrible and I expected more out of the male character. Very Disappointing!!!

It's billed as a romantic comedy when it's not at all romantic, and very unfunny. The characters are for the most part amoral and irritating (including the main characater) & the ending would make anyone want to toss their cookies. This was the worst films I have seen in a long time for the sheer waste of all its talent. I also heard women in the audience say this is a click flick... That's only true if all the women you know are conniving & shrill.
