Just one of the many similar movies... I don't see the big idea about president's daughter... ppl seem to forget that a girl can be prez's daughter for max 8 yrs... it's not like royalty that's for life.

Cute. YAWN. As a guide, this is heavy on the drama/romance and very light on the comedy. But the story has been written, filmed and told a 1, 000 times before. It is so predictable. So much so, that it was too long. The ending was boring and dragged on forever.

Did anyone not notice? The director totally ripped off the storyline from Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn. It is so similar that it I was disappointed. Especially since the original movie was one hundred times better. Although Mandy is cute and innocent with a darring side, she cannot replace or outdo Audrey. Also, Matt Good was not as charming as Gregory Peck. Sure, the movie was not exactly the same- Mandy was the president's daughter and Audrey was a princess, but for the movie to really be interesting, hollywood needs to come up with some new ideas instead of recycling old ones again and again. People are better off watching Mandy Moore's new film Saved! Because it is far more interesting and not the least bit disappointing. Chasing Liberty was not even fuuny. I thought Never Been Kissed, You've Got Mail, Freaky Friday, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Buler, or The Breakfast Club were all much more better and were funny. Sorry Mandy, better luck next time.

Yes, I'm really enjoy it! The sight of the Europe are beautiful too. Mandy acts very well in this movie. The escaption is very successful and funny. I never forget the sight the moment that they said to each other that night, it made me laugh! It is so funny that the actor enjoy sleeping on the floor!

Cute Movie. Mandy's acting has imporved. The new guy with the accent was very cute as well. Awesome scenery, it made me want to go to the Berlin Love Parade. See it with your girls, not your guys, as they will hate it.

I saw this movie and I was really excited to see and I was soo happy afterwards! IT WAS AWESOME! And OMG Matthew Goode is the biggest hottie! Ya it was predictable but it was soo good the plot was excellent! "Will they shoot me if I kiss you? " "No but I will if you dont! " GO SEE IT!!

This movie is about the presidents daughter. It has a Princess Diaries sort of quirk and I truly think Mandy Moore and all the other actors did a superb job. The only bad thing about this movie was that it was too predictable. But it was just a chick flick. I think that you should go check this movie out - its cute, funny, and definitely worth the money.

I thought this movie was very cute. Mandy Morre is surprising me with how good of an actress she is. And the new guy, Matt Goode, also a great actor, and a cutie. The movie was a definit chick flick, but totally worth it. Girls, get some friends together, and have a girls night out!!

This is one of the best romantic movies that I've seen in a long time. The chemistry between the characters was amazing, and there was two love stories going on at the same time, making it even more sweet. I can't wait to own this movie and watch it over and over again, it is definitely a must see for any hopeless romantic.

It's a great movie especially for those who love travelling and wish to break free from the every day routine and enjoy life. Very entertaining. The sites in Europe are incredible and the acting is great! Worth seeing on the big screen because of the scenery!

For those of you who dont want to know the mystery behind the movie, please dont read these comments further. I think it is a bad idea to announce Ben Calder as a secret agent too far ahead in the movie. The Director should have let Mandy Moore find out herself in the end. The movie would have had more pizaz if that was left as a mystery to the audience. Love parade in Berlin was quite a sight :)

This is a cute movie if you like silly "mind candy" type of deals. Mandy Moore is quite delightful but I was way more entertained by the antics of Annabella Sciorra & the very under-rated Jeremy Piven. There was way more romantic tension between them than the two principal actors. I was quite surprised at how good this film turned out to be. The postcards are a cute effect & the European scenery is quite nicely shot as well. Two facts that must be brought up, though, first - there is NO NUDITY in this movie, just some faraway clips of Mandy Moore's backside and a couple of topless from the back deals. Save your money if you hope to see some skin. Secondly, and most importantly, how do they manage to run into every perfect English speaker in Europe, regardless of the country they're in...

Don't usually like "chick flicks" but this one was not too bad. The best part for me was the scenery. From praque through the austria mountains and into Venice, then on to the "love parade" in Berlin. Quite an eye opener! Makes me wanna go and experience European life.

2 Words: Chick Flic! I thought it was a really good movie but instead of going with my bf I should have gone with my friends cause this is an all out girl movie! Mandy Moore was way better in Chasing Liberty that in A Walk To Remember and the new guy was H-O-T!!! It was a great movie, don't miss it!

I just saw the movie "chasing liberty" 3 hours ago. Me and my friends loved the movie!!! It was sooo cute!! It's not really realistic but I am not really into realistic movies I mean movies can be fantasys just like books! It is REALLY funny!! We laughed a lot! The sights of different places are sooo beautiful!!! All in all I think it's a great movie and I really enjoyed it. It is really romanytic. Go with your girlfriends or go as a couple!!! IT WAS A VERY GOOD MOVIE AND I LOVED IT!!!

Four times better than WHAT A GIRL WANTS. It's romantic, a little bit sad, funny and makes us travel and see exotic locations around the world. But if you're only going to see the film because of the so called nudity, you can forget that reason because the scene is so much in the shadows that only superman with his x ray vision would be able to see a thing!
