Encore un film franchement trop long des frères Wachowski. Look intéressant mais particulièrement inconstant. Le meilleur acteur est un chimpanzé. Franchement aucune intrigue. On dirait un mix de Fast and the Furious and des Transformers sur un sugar rush.

Nooo! I spent the last of my allowence money to see this movie instead of What Happens in Vegas. This movie was stupid, dumb, and all the aspects to ruin a movie completely. So don't waste your money on this junk and watch a different movie that you can at least enjoy. If you don't want to listen to me go buy yourself a ticket to this movie. At the end you would have wished that you listened to me and SAVED YOUR MONEY.

It really was a masterpiece. The color was great, the acting was just as corny as it should be, and the racing scenes were beyond exciting. I'm not sure if any of the nay-sayers even saw the previews. Or the original show. If you had, you would have known to expect bright colors, intensity, crazy races, and over the top acting. Those aren't mistakes, that's effing SPEED RACER for you!

Visual eye candy, my son and I loved it. It was a good story and I found myself squeezing my fists during the races. A fun night at the movies.

I think people are expecting a lot more out of this movie and I will admit, some scenes could be a little more uppity and interesting, but this is one of the few movies I've seen that sticks exactly to the show it originally came from. This movie is a slight revamp of the Speed Racer anime from the 1960's but everything is dead on. Although, some advice; Kids 10 and under probably shouldn't see it, (they'll either be bored stiff or love it enough to see again), there is one small fight scene that's pretty entertaining with all the cheesy punches but it's nowhere near traumatizing, and to understand where this movie is coming from, you should probably watch an episode or two of the series. I did, and I found the movie a lot better and far more interesting than the show. Secondly, you should probably bring a pair of sunglasses or something. There is A LOT of color in this movie and the racing parts, although incredibly exciting, are almost seizure inducing with all the flashing lights. It puts a bit of a strain on the eyes but it's still a good watch. These races are far better than NASCAR. My dad saw it with me and he thought it would be a bad movie, but he said he was pleasantly suprised. A lot better than he thought it would be. I give it an 8/10 because it's a great movie to watch. Not ground breaking, all-action like Ironman (the two films shouldn't even be compared to each other)but still entertaining -and some scenes were cheesy, but hey, If you're still unsure, go see it on a Tuesday when tickets are only 5$. I think they did a good job of summing up 50+ episodes in under three hours. I like it.

I wasn't expecting anything special, I was surprise but I liked the movie a lot, it's not a masterpiece, but still I had a good laugh, special effects are awesome and the story is great, This movie is a late afternoon movie or a tuesday night movie of choice.

My sons loved it, my oldest son is 17 and watched speed racer on the cartoon network when he was little... Great graphics!!!

Kind of a cheesy movie for adults, my son was a little tramatized over some of the violence. He loved the racing scenes and he felt parts were pretty funny. Way too long - felt it could have been editted as there was a lot of nonsense that did not lend itself to the movie at all.

This movie was was to hard to follow for my 5 year old and my 10 year old! First hour was boring, the last hour was not too bad, at least there was abit of racing. I would not recommend this movie!
