This was one of the best movies I've seen for a long time. Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr, Michael Douglas and others do very good job.

I guess it's too much for modern audiences with their need for constant visual stimulation and crude jokes to watch a character-driven intelligent movie about life and real issues. Wonder Boys is a GREAT movie for those of us out there who still appreciate a nice, heart-warming dramatic comedy about some interesting characters in an interesting predicament. Michael Douglas SHINES as the defunct Grady Tripp and off course, the beautiful Katie Holmes always adds to the enjoyment of the movie.

Nice to see a movie made for intelligent people! Great performances, particularly Robert Downey, Jr.

Okay, this movie had a lot of great actors. Tobey Maguire and Robert Downey Jr! I thought the movie itself was long and boring. When I leave a theater I want to feel as though I am a different person. Sad that the movie was over. Unfortunately, I was just sad that this movie wasn't over quick enough.

Finally! a comedy for adults with funny situations that remind me some british movies. I like an intelligent script which provides the spectator with something else than scatological or onanist gags like the thousand of inept comédies filmed by the americans these last years. The performances are great, specially Robert Downey jr. Go see it if you want something more than stupid laughs over an apple pie last years.

I thought that this movie was a so-so. Although I did not fall asleep, I was not really entertained either. It was two hours of going nowhere. The movie only comes together in the last two minutes. I was not interested in the caracters, the acting was OK. All in all, a dissapointment.

Incredibly smart and funny. It is a great modern film with great acting by both Michael Douglas and Tobey Maguire. Robert Downey Jr. was refreshing in his portrayal. All around great hilarious movie.

Michael Douglas shines in his new movie. He is surrounded by a great cast and provided with hilarious material. This movie is worth the full fare, if only to see Douglas with his clothes on!!

Although actors are good the movie doesn't make any sense. I thought that it would have been better.
