One of the best movies I have seen, it was directed brillantly, Aamir Khan has done a superb job. The story was unique and reaches out to all ages. It also educates and teaches everyone. Definitely a very emotional film, it really touches your heart and teaches you the importance of others, expecially parents about the importance of children in all aspects. It's a family film and must-watch! The child has acted very well, he definietly connects to the audience through his feelings and emotions. The locations are real and the songs are well done. Definitely, an amazing film! Superb Aamir Khan!

I would say I had the opportunity to watch such a masterpiece. From the beginning till end a very nice sequence. A good message sent to a lot of parents. Thank you Amir for performing so well again. Last but not the least the BEST ACTOR of THIS YEAR and coming years too Ishaan (name in the film) hope he keeps on smiling and shining.

Brilliant movie. One of the best bollywood (or even hollywood movie for that matter) that I have seen in years. A well written story, extremely well acted. Even if you are not indian, this movie is a must see, anyone can appreciate and learn a valuable lesson from this story. You just need to be prepared to read about 3 hours of subtitles, but trust me you will not regret it. I encourage you to see it before it leaves the cinema.

It is made for parents who don't know how every kid in the universe is special. I always say that every kid is special and every kid had a talent. Parents nowadays only seem to care about how they are going to help by making the kids to work hard and get stressed. That is not the right way to make kids come up in their lives. Not always. Sometimes it is because they make their kids jealous about other kids and how the other kids study. That is tension.

I'll add to the chorus of superlatives for this movie. While it was perhaps a tiny bit preachy at times, this film had so much heart that it completely captivated me. It fully succeeded in showing the world through the eyes of a unique and special child. The occasional use of animations was particularly effective in this regard. The cinematography and music were good and unobtrusive. The director quite rightly ensured that they were used to support the wonderful story -- not to overshadow it. What a beautiful, beautiful movie!

Kudos to Aamir for his brilliance. As always he reaffirms that he is one of the first 2 or 3 best actors the Indian-Hindi cinema offers. He is the only Khan one can call a decent, respectable, dignified and a GREAT actor. The other Khans of Bollywood are a mediocre lot when compared to him. Time and again Aamir proves the fact that one need not be always in the news to retain the status that he has achieved and grips so firmly. The film is brilliantly thought of, directed and enacted. Very seldom one expects such a different and unique topic from Bollywood. Aamir may you and directors like you produce more of such meaningful movies and turn the face of Bollywood. Ishaan is a brilliant new find and scores full marks for his acting. He surely is there to stay - what a kid!!! Music is excellent and so are the lyrics. Very touching and moving scenes- one can't stop from getting emotional and walk out with wet eyes. This movie is oscar stuff. All parents, teachers and schools must watch it compulsorily. A must watch movie indeed. Congrats Aamir.

FINALLY a different bollywood movie... no love story in this one. Very amazing... kind of long, but who cares? That kid was AMAZING omg I was stunned by how brilliant he was.
