This story based on real events not only shows the frustrations of a serious minded newswoman at odds with a boss who wants more sensationalism in news content. This is happening with anchors all over the country forced to turning to more scandal ridden content. British star Rebecca Hall is very good as a flawed woman with home life dysfunction as well as problems in the newsroom. In this day and age it all seems to be a lose/lose situation for a serious journalist! What I like is that the problem of serious reporting is at least addressed head on as is the role of senior personnel who are no better than jerks.
