    Prizzi's Honor

A brilliant John Huston movie which deals with mobsters and the mob and one man Charley Partana who throws over Maerose Prizzi (Anjelica Huston) for Irene Walker (Kathleen Turner) The plot thickens as in any 'mafia' based film. There are twists and turns hard to believe and decisions to be made, a matter of life and death. John Huston was ill during most of the filming but managed to create a gem and receive an Oscar nomination for best director. His daughter Angelica took the best supporting actress of that year. Back in 1948, John Huston directed his father to an Oscar in 'The Treasure of the Sierra Madre'.
