I certainly never thought I would have enjoyed a movie with a robot as a central character. But as one discovers, the film is not about robotics in the technical sense. It is much more a human story which deals with very serious issues of the human condition especially relating to age, the aging process and the negative aspects that spring from the inevitable. The inimitable Frank Langella who just won a Tony on Broadway (June, 2016 for 'The Father') is an amazing actor who works well in all genres. Quite a terrific conclusion which is more than satisfying.
