    The Long Good Friday

Bob Hoskins stars as a pugnacious cockney gangster whose bid for respectability is scuttled by by an inexplicable wave of murder and sabotage. Of great interest is to witness Hoskins as so young an actor Young Helen Mirren co-stars as his g. f. Definitely worth a view even though I'm scoring it below what it really deserves. A few things put me off!
