    The Sessions

A really unusual story of humanity, tragedy, the yearning for a normal life even in the smallest of doses makes this picture one for an adult mind. It might be shocking to some but it smacks of a reality most would yearn in such a situation. John Hawkes should have been in line for an Oscar Nomination for his deeply sincere, understated performance, but that was not to be. Helen Hunt was more fortunate as the 'caregiver' in receiving a Supporting Actress Nomination. This is all something very different than ever seen before. Make an attempt to see this little gem as most missed it when first released.
