Humphrey Bogart, an artist, killed his first wife, but not until using her as a model for his painting "Angel of Death". A few years later, married to Stanwyk, the new wife starts showing signs of illness. This psychological thriller is a bit heavy-going for the most part and takes it's time building to a rather exciting climax. I would have rated the film higher, but the build up to the feature was rather too slow.
