The War Within: A Portrait of Virginia Woolf

    Reviewed by

Heart-rending documentary of a great writer caught in the throws of mental illness. The self-revelation from her own private letters and journals is a revelation as are interviews with Virginia Woolf associates who were still alive in the 1990's. A portrait of a woman in absolute mental anguish. Her great work lives on!
