    The Women

An absolutely stellar cast of MGM female stars from Canadian born Norma Shearer to Joan Crawford to Rosalind Russell and on and on the list could go about catty women who love to gossip especially with the difficulties faced by the Norma Shearer marriage. The wonderful Norma character is diametrically opposed to the mean streak of the Joan Crawford character or the […] silliness of the Russell character. It's all about men or a man but not a man will you find in this splendid serious comedy directed by George Cukor. The film was inspired by the Broadway hit of Claire Booth Luce. Tops in every way. I love this film.
