Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

I enjoyed the first Adventure to the center of the earth and had high hopes for the second one. I went in expecting an action filled flic. Although there was some action, I believe it would have been more captivating to see further deep island discovery action. The 3d effects were ok, items came flying out of the screen on two separate occasions. There was a lot of dialogue and feel good plot for kids including the typical be good, family sticks together, stay in school and the ever popular "all you need is love". The Rock brought some of his cheesy moves and dialogue while Josh and Micheal Caine were excellent and played their parts well. Unfortunately you will have to endure Vanessa's "acting". Too bad they couldn't get someone like Amber Heard to play the part, she has great looks and can handle her own on screen!
