    All the King's Men

I am trying to figure out why I didn't care about this movie. The actors were there doing their 'thang'. The look of the movie and it being a period piece was amazing. BUT... who in tarnation was the antogonist? Did I miss something here? Who was the friggin' bad guy? Sean Penn is all pent up and freaking out (little overacting but that's ok I like Sean)Jude Law is all intense and James Gandolfini is trying really hard not to be Tony Soprano. I couldn't wait for this movie to end. And of course the musical score has oscar written all over it but I am afraid that tune will not be played next year. Not in my books anyway. If you want to go and see this movie go ahead but there seems to be something going on that the audience knows nothing about.
