This is a "summer stock" type piece, set in summer stock country! Could easily be on stage, at a local repertory shed. Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton have been on the radar, over 40 years. No lack of acting chops here, and they sell the roles pretty well. Sterling Jerins, plays her characters age well, with some pretty savvy older than years touches when applicable. Frances Sternhagen, a "smokin' senior" figure of consciousness. Her role sort of knits the whole thing together. Very light, quite predictable in a good journey fashion. You could watch it any time, again, and not really mind. I can't call it a think-piece 7, but a fair romp.
