Barney's Version

This movie was longer than most and felt about twice as long as many which is not a good sign. So if you go, be prepared to sit for a long time and don't be too surprised if you yawn, perhaps a few times. I feel disappointed because I truly wanted to love this film with such fine actors especially Dustin Hoffman and Minnie Driver. The trailer led me to believe that this would be quite a compelling piece of entertainment. It should have been on the level of About Schmidt but it missed the Mark by a wide margin. I definitely won't be returning for a second viewing.
