The concept for this film is outstanding, but the realization is flawed. Why do "commercial" Canadian films need to filled with gratuitous blood, gore, violence and sex? This film had the potential to be a really sparkling satire and, indeed, it starts off as such, but then it degenerates badly. Having said that, the acting is outstanding, especially Patrick Huard and Colm Feore; it is really unfortunate that they were undermined by a cheap sensationalist screenplay.
