Saw Boyhood tonight - it was interesting, but not what I expected. Loved the concept of the way the film was made but thought it was difficult to follow. To be fair, we did see it on Pay Per View at a friend's house. The film may have been more cohesive in a dark theater on the big screen. The acting was very good, especially from the child actors. Patricia Arquette's final scene hit me hardest - something that all mothers "of a certain age" can absolutely understand. But this, as with too many other plot lines, remains frustratingly unresolved. All in all, I don't understand the hype beyond the 12 year continuation of filming.
