We are far from memorable cinema. The story goes nowhere, often skims pass absurdity, is finally without effect. The cast is impressive, but they are far from their top form. Paolo Noel and Céline Bonnier bring a slight smile to our faces but barely anything else. The easy voyeurism of revealing how beautiful fortysomething Bonnier’s breasts still are, is out of place. Residing in Coteau Rouge myself, I felt obligated to see this film. I expected a light comedy. I can say it is a ephemeral wisp. Soon as seen, soon as forgotten.
