Deadpool is vulgar, crass and alarmingly violent. I guess that's what they intended, as the movie is hugely entertaining. It is the epitome of an anti-super hero movie, all the way from his dirty and torn costume to his vulgar, trash talking mouth. Captain America he is not. The dialogue is brilliant, packed with sarcastic and black humour from start to finish. I was genuinely surprised by how effective Ryan Reynolds was in the role. The folks at Marvel hit a home run with the offbeat Guardians of the Galaxy and it looks like they've done it again with Deadpool. If you are expecting Superman, all righteous and polite, don't go. Otherwise, Deadpool shouldn't be missed.
