Just returned from seeing Gravity - and I just hope that my breathing becomes normal soon. This movie is gripping - totally immerses the audience right from the start. It truly felt like I was being pulled through outer space by the tow line right along with them. Forget the fact that the plot is highly improbable. It just doesn't matter when you're gripping your seat arms with all your might or gasping for breath right along with the characters. I usually do not like 3D movies and find no logical reason for any movie to be shot in 3D. Most of the time I find the 3D effects a distraction that takes my mind out of the movie as I say "oh yeah, that was put in there just for the 3D effect". But for this movie, it works beautifully. And is almost a necessity. Do I have a complaint? Yes. Why do we get to see Sandra Bullock in her underwear and not George Clooney?!
