'Planet Terror' was amazingly done... It had it all. I was really impressed with the style of presentation. I squirmed, I screamed, I jumped, and I laughed. Sorry I couldn't say the same for 'Death Proof' as the second feature. 'Death Proof' started out good enough but then the last half dragged on and on...

If you're old enough to remember downtown Toronto theaters like the Biltmore, Rio, and Coronet... Plus the way they operated in the 70's and early 80's, you may just find this a great film. I saw it in a semi-abandoned theater at Scarboro Town Center. I enjoyed both features, and liked Death Proof just as much as Planet Terror. I do think though, they could have left some of the restaurant conversation scene on the cutting room floor. Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike was great, as was Zoe Bell. The cast in both features, plus the trailers were great too.
