You have to be in a mood to watch this. Yes, it is one of those. You need to sit, relax and just watch it. Do not expect a huge action sci-fi. The three hours for me, and my husband went quite quickly. I see from the reviews, it wasn't that way for everyone, but It didn't seem that long to me. That being said, I really enjoyed it. The cinematography was amazing. The robots added humor and were fascinating to watch. Not a big Hathaway fan, never was. She always seems to be blubbering in every movie I've seen her in. All the other actors were a treat. I love Jessica Chastain. Ever since I saw her in Lawless, she had me hooked. You never forget her. The movie theory was very interesting as not much is known about black holes, except theories. That's why it makes such terrific sci-fi. My husband doesn't have a physics background but I do, and he enjoyed it very much. So it isn't limited to a scientific mind. Just my opinion.
