It is a nuanced take on what it could be like to fall in love when one is mature, and jaded. Anyone can make a movie about young, gorgeous 20 or 30 year olds falling in love. But hasn't that been done and seen ad infinitum? The theme here is handled with class, and delicacy. If you listen carefully also the music adds the beautiful element of sadness and happiness and you can feel it as the story unfolds and makes you wonder if these two souls will manage to find each other. Great chemistry, the editing is fab, and the simple yet tender script gets better with an exquisite cast. I mean even the Polish neighbour... superbly cast!
