    McFarland

Disney as usual has made a movie for the whole family. It is enjoyable based on a true very inspiring story about more than a team of long distance runners who eventually win the state championship. Kevin Kostner does a good job as a reluctant coach who wants to leave McFarland as soon as possible. He is believable in the role. The film is full of cliches but it some how does not make the movie any less enjoyable. You will leave the theatre in very good spirits. The recap at the end as the credits role adds to the film. If you liked The Million Dollar Arm you will like this movie.
