Nia Vardolos was a one hit wonder as a film writer/actress in Greek Wedding. That Indie still remains the biggest money maker in Indie History passing the 450 million mark. She's such a likeable actress and talented but that enormous film role did very little for her career. I've seen 3 other of her movies. MY LIFE IN RUINS is pleasant enough, but it doesn't have enough of anything to make it really work. As a tour guide in Greece what will you think of her self discovery? I don't think she can have much of a career except for bit parts or something she might write for herself, as, like all of us she is ageing, the number one problem for WOMEN in the movie industry.
