Boring. The only half decent character was Blackbeard and his flamboyancy was the highlight of the movie. The poor acting, annoying characterization of Hook, the obviously Caucasian 'Indian' princess all added up to a slow moving, unexciting and frankly bland movie. I'm glad I didn't take children with me because in the climax scene, the 'hero' uses a race of sentient beings to murder a shipful of men. Awesome.
