Pride was by far the best film I have seen this year. Its appeal is universal - gay, straight, young, old, etc. as it is a film about family, friendship, love, diversity, adversity, politics, and most importantly pride. Pride for gays and lesbians, as well as working people (labour unions) The fact that it is a true story made it even more poignant. I laughed-cried-laughed-cried-laughed throughout the entire film. The mid-80s soundtrack is as brilliant as every performance in the film. It is a truly inspirational and entertaining film. I will be recommending to everyone I know - gay and straight!
