It's a serious question... what happens when somebody can't make the payments on a vital but extremely expensive life-support system? However the answer this movie presents... repo men stealing into your house, tasering you, and removing the artificial organ with fatal results... is absurd and silly. Unfortunately this movie doesn't play it for laughs, instead taking the absurdity very seriously. It doesn't really work. The movie has lots of good bits... good acting, believable and involving characters, some great action sequences... I am totally in love with Jude Law as an action star. However the essential silliness of the premise spoiled the reset of it, and the telegraphed twist ending was disappointing. In general there was just too much unfunny black humour, and pointless, targetless satire. A waste of talent and money. Too bad... I was looking forward to this one.

I've got to agree with you there. The premise of the movie is completely absurd and utterly blows my suspension of disbelief right from the get go. There is no recovery, no matter how talented the people working on the movie are, when it starts with an idea this bad.
