Didn't like this flick. The main actor, Kristen Stewart, spent most of her time with her mouth slightly open, looking pensive, or frightened, or sad. There were many times during the movie when I expected her to say something, but she remained oddly silent (but with her mouth slightly open, which makes you think she's going to say something) The other actors seemed to be going through the motions of their roles. The CGI was great, but special effects never really make up for a badly written film or dull performances by the actors. Charlize dragging herself out of the crow ooze was interesting to watch, though. Who knew inky fluids and feathery bits of crow could be so unsettling? And the row with the bridge troll was kinda' fun - really, really anticlimactic - but fun. Anyway... I would suggest a pass on this flick. There wasn't nearly enough in this movie to warrant the expense and investment of time required to watch it. If you want to see great high fantasy in film, pull out your Lord of the Rings series. Watching "Snow White and the Huntsman" will leave you wishing you had.
