Something's gotta give and it turns out it was my patience for the last sixty minutes of this picture! This movie started out all right with witty dialogue and funny situations but then it slunk into a self-indulgent, middle-aged female fantasy that amounted to little more than a heaping pile of stinky cheese. While I'm sure there is a narrow audience for this picture, it should not have come at the expense of the rest of us. This could have been a film for everyone, not just the writer/director and her girlfriends. At least thirty minutes of this movie should have found itself on the cutting room floor and it should have come from the last half of the picture. The main highlight for me was the work of Amanda Peet - an absolutely stunning and talented actress that needs to get bigger and better roles to match her terrific abilities - she is a joy to behold. I conclude by saying that this is a movie Woody Allen should have made, it would have been a whole lot better in my opinion.
