This movie would have seemed pretty cool and edgy 20 years ago... now the themes and plot devices seem dated and cliche, and the dialogue borders on the ridiculous. However the action and acting was pretty good, and if you can overlook the writing, it's a decent yarn. I could see sequels being made... another Dirty Harry phenom? The Miami Vice movie with Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell worked better for me...

Jamie foxx and colin farrell in miami vice made me laugh and shake my head in shame. That was the worst movie ever it ripped the original miami vice to shreds. I'm just checking out reviews to see if I should go see this movie tonight and thanks! Your review helped me decide to see it!
