This movie was pretty much contrived and pretty predictable and formula oriented. It seemed far too easy for Liam Neeson’s character to accomplish all that he did with such ease in all that gunfire and not get a scratch on him. At times it was almost like watching a video game and seeing the bad guys get bumped off every single time. It also gets very boring when Hollywood chooses its new ethnic bad guys that it wants to point out, this time being the Albanians. Didn’t Robert Zemeckis use the Albanians in Back to the Future? Anyway, I digress. I will admit this action packed movie keeps your attention from beginning to end. If Liam Neeson had not been in this movie it may have been another boring Hollywood effort and I may have enjoyed it even less.
